The Meta Post
I’m usually wary of people who buy into their own hype, so if this post turns you off or makes you think less of me, I guess that’s understandable. For those of you who can stand a bit of self-indulgence, read on. Today, I came across three different blog posts referencing things I’ve been seriously involved in, and since I haven’t blogged about any of it (surprise), I’m linking to them.
1. Over gchat, Matt asked me when Jeff is performing at The Apollo. I googled “jeff hofmann apollo” and landed exactly on this post: http://jeffinharlem.blogspot.com/2008/03/some-hae-meat-and-canna-eat.htm (the date of the apollo performance, by the way, is April 16, 2008. and for the record, there’s no possible way Becca’s papaya song was prepared furthest in advance.)
2. As Jessica left my apartment tonight, she mentioned that her family loved the chalkboard wall. Err? She had posted it on her blog, and they thought it was great. I checked it out, and the three non-anti-social things she mentions doing all directly involve my apartment (yeah we’re that awesome): http://jessicaallred.blogspot.com/2008/03/spring-comes-marching-in.html
3. And then. Jo called to say thanks for the package I sent. She had blogged about it, she said. Indeed she had. It’s actually exceedingly lovely. Thanks, Jo: http://morethanmilk.blogspot.com/2008/03/you-say-popsicle-i-say-yoyoclay.html
In other news, this Saturday, there’s this:

If you can, do come.
Thanks,
